Buckeye the Snowman visits O'Neil Road

With all the snow it was easy for snowmen to get around. Buckeye found his way to our house. The girls had a blast playing in the snow. Although the weather extended our Christmas break by giving us an extra week off of school/work, it gave our family ample time to be creative and enjoy the outdoors. Addison had a friend from school, Katie, come over to help build Buckeye.

Gwynnie turns 2

Gwynnie turned 2 on Friday, December 12th ... we had a nice day and weekend. Gwynnie, Addison and Chelsey visited Dad at work and enjoyed a cupcake. That evening Gwynnie had a couple of friends over (Lauren and Jesse) and indulged in some cinnamon and raisin (num-nums as Gwynnie like to call them) pudding with cookie dough ice cream. On Sunday, Chelsey put together a cute little get-together at Coffee Paradigm where Gwynnie and her friends Jade and Gracelyn and sister Addi decorated sugar cookies and sipped on some hot chocolate. That afternoon and evening is when the SNOW began to fall. School hasn't been in session since. Very fun evening. Gwynnie is excited to turn '2' because now she can have a vitamin like her big sister and also begin potty-training. Enjoy some pictures from her day.

Arctic Blast 2008 hits Keizer

Schools were closed so it didn't take us long to get out and enjoy the snowy conditions. The girls loved being wipped around in the ice and snow. We found a little hill at the end of our street to do a little sledding; doesn't compare to Garfield Park, but not bad for four and two year olds. Ah heck, not bad for parents either.
